Training Philosophy

I believe in a “challenge by choice” approach to fitness instruction…
I want my clients to benefit from our time together because I have personalized their workouts to match their abilities, interests, and individual goals. I very much enjoy learning about my clients and challenge them to try new things that are exciting, fun, and help them attain a refreshing perspective on physical, spiritual, and mental health. I am currently working towards attaining a certification from the American College of Sport Medicine in order to pursue my goal of personal training clients of all ability levels with an emphasis on adaptive fitness and weight loss.

Personal Information:

I have always been an active person, and I find myself constantly creating fun new ways to move that inspire me to work harder and encourage others to do the same. While pursuing a degree in the field of journalism, I found my elective credits quickly adding up in the field of my passions: fitness and wellness. Upon seeking a certification in K-12 Physical Education program at Metro, I realized that I equally enjoy working with adults who can benefit from the holistic approach to health that I so fiercely believe in. I have studied Complementary and Alternative Medicine as well as Integrative Therapeutic Practices, and I believe that your body and mind deserve equal amounts of exercise.
